Managing Files with FTP and File Manager

You can manage your website files using the cPanel File Manager or an FTP client.

Using cPanel File Manager:

1. Login to cPanel.
2. Locate the File Manager:
   • Under the “Files” section, click “File Manager.”
3. Navigate to Your Files:
   • Browse your files (e.g., public_html for your website root).
4. Upload, Edit, or Delete Files:
   • Use the options at the top to upload, edit, move, or delete files.

Using FTP (File Transfer Protocol):

1. Download an FTP Client:
   • Use software like FileZilla.
2. Create an FTP Account:
   • Go to cPanel > “FTP Accounts” > Add a new FTP user.
3. Connect to FTP Client:
   • Use your server IP, username, and password to connect.
4. Upload Files:
   • Drag and drop your files into the FTP client to upload them.
